One of the purposes for this trip was to discover and learn about Jordan’s web market from one hand. On the other hand, to network with potential partners and agencies for broadcasting video campaigns through social networks which is Buzzeff MENA main value proposition to the market.
The forum was particularly interesting with presentations from many web player in the MENA region. Case studies were shared and interactions around them were diverse and sometimes tough…
A good presentation was done by Cesar Christoforidis from Social Bakers on Social Statistics web MENA. Mohammed Minawi, General Manager at Ipsos Jordan gave us excellent web statistics of our region also. For example, Most Young Internet users Consider the Internet the Primary Source of information. 1 out of 4 Young Internet Users prefer socializing Online rather than Offline. 81% Smartphone Owners in MENA region are using their Phones While Watching TV. 1 out of 4 internet users would buy a brand because friends “Like” or Follow that brand. These inputs are coming up with facts, trends, data mining and users habits that shows the importance of internet as a global communication environment bringing upfront so many opportunities at multiple levels (business, ecommerce, advertising, social network…).

New profiles at Buzzeff Middle-East in Dubai
Buzzeff is growing and so does its team. The last week of September was dedicated to the training of our new team based in Dubai. Three new profiles have joined Buzzeff Middle-East:
· Alie Jaber, Sales Senior Manager with a 20-years’ experience in Middle East at an international level in sales, marketing and media. Alie is taking the lead of the sales team at Buzzeff ME following his last position at Forbes Middle-East.
· Yamen Alagha, Account Manager, graduated from the American University of Cyprus, with a 7-years’ experience in sales, marketing and online media in Middle-East. Yamen will be in charge of clients portfolio of Buzzeff ME following his last position at Traffic Online Media Solutions in Dubai.
· Ali Shirazee, Account Manager, graduated from the University of London, with a 5-years’ experience in business development and consulting in China, Ghana and Middle-East. Ali will also manage client portfolio of Buzzeff ME following his last position at 9 Cloud Inc in Dubai.
Training the team on the spot and introducing to the prospects
Following a week of training, the team scheduled several appointments with potential customers with the sole aim to introduce and to explain the business core of Buzzeff to the market.
Over a dozen of prospects, they all were interested in the virality solutions offered by the company.
