Casablanca (Morocco), July 23rd, 2012BUZZEFF, the social advertising platform and digital communication leader in Morocco raises USD 1,2 million from a Luxembourgish Private Equity investor (SOLORUN) and a roundtable of successful European Entrepreneurs from the web industry. Among those investors are Marc Menasé (Nextedia, Menlook), Said Saad (MonsieurPrix, Shopbot and Cyréalis) and Emmanuel Francoise (Creanet, Overgame and Topfinance.com). The proceeds of the fundraising are dedicated to finance the organic growth of BUZZEFF across the MENA region. The fundraising was conducted by W&Cie SA a multi Family Office based in Luxembourg and Geneva.

Since January 2011, BUZZEFF supports brands for their digital communication strategies and web presence with focus on social networks and publishers. To date, the company has been growing its turnover by 200% over the same period in 2011.

In that growth context, BUZZEFF raises funds to achieve its development plans. These, among others, are the strengthening of its human capital & resources which should include: the recruitment of 10 employees, moving to a new headquarters in Casablanca – Morocco, the upgrading of its technological infrastructure…  as well as opening of its subsidiary in the Middle East (Dubaï).

The strategic partnership with Ebuzzing, European internet n°1 video broadcasting company, and also a shareholder of BUZZEFF, allows BUZZEFF to take advantage of the use of the first social advertising platform in the region. Thus, BUZZEFF has an advanced technology in video broadcasting to support client’s media plannings by efficient targeting (geo-targeting, gender, age, interests…), detailed measurability and consistent analytics.
